The Lodge @ High Plains – Stay in your own private bit of Eden

Escape the trials and tribulations of modern life for your own piece of Eden. We enjoy an elevated position above the Eden Valley in Cumbria, within the Westmorland Dales (part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park).
We are 5 miles south of Appleby-in-Westmorland and just 1½ miles from the lovely village of Great Asby.
You will have a modern cedar lodge set alone in its own acre of woodland, with breathtaking views across the high Pennines.

The lodge itself was perfectly clean, no issues anywhere at all! We were very happy with everything in the lodge, definitely one of the nicest/cleanest ones we have stayed in. Louise was also kind enough to leave a home-baked treat for us on arrival, a delicious lemon drizzle cake, safe to say it didn’t last long! 

Location was enclosed as mentioned in description, so it was perfect for our toddlers and dog to go exploring. 

I’m running out of space to give a full review, but we had a brilliant time at the lodge. The location was lovely and peaceful! Our boys were even lucky enough to meet the farm animals which they loved! We hope to be back soon!

					  A beautiful charming little Lodge in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Our family had a great stay at the Lodge and can't wait to return. There is plenty to... read more do nearby and only a short drive to Appleby where you can find shops, takeaways and a park for the kids to play. The homemade lemon drizzle was a lovely welcome. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to come back in the future.
